Enjoy Japan, a
fifteen minute show that aired at 6:15 p.m. circa 1960, was hosted by Walt Sheldon and
Hiroko Kubota. According to Tom Korzeniowski and his wife, Hiroko is now a
well-known writer in Japan.
This show is signficant in that it is one of
several shows intended to bring service men and women, their families, and citizens of the
host country, closer together.
We thank Dr. Jim Nellen, a former Air Force
radiologist stationed at the USAF Hospital and Itazuke (circa 1959-1961) for donating
these shows.
